Melamine edging from Kröning is sustainable because it is made from renewable raw materials. Certified pulp, which is obtained only from the controlled cultivation of long-fiber eucalyptus and short-fiber softwood according to the strict guidelines of FSC and PEFC This means that the raw material is largely CO² neutral. The color systems used to print the edges can be thinned with water. The lacquer systems used can also be diluted with water, based on urea or environmentally friendly UV lacquers.
